Head Coach - Martin Byrd

Coach Byrd is excited to start his second year here at Bishop Verot. In his first year at Bishop Verot he served as an Assistant, primarily working with the sprinters and jumpers as a number of the athletes qualified for the State Meet. 

Before joining Bishop Verot, Martin previously oversaw the Track and Field Program at Cypress Lake High School. 

Martin would start his career in Track and Field as an assistant at Fort Myers High School in 2012, helping with boys and girls sprinters. The Fort Myers program would win a number of district and county championships in his time there. 

Coach Byrd is also an assistant Football coach with the Vikings. During the day, Martin teaches Algebra 1 and Work/Life Readiness at Bishop Verot.
